Highlights of YE4C's First Editorial Board

Youth Engaged 4 Change creates content for youth by youth. We’d like to introduce you to some of the young people responsible for the “by youth” part for the last few months. The first cohort of the YE4C editorial board was in place from February 2020 to June 2020. They were a group of 10 young people who helped organize and improve YE4C content. The editorial board also gave feedback to federal agencies about their youth-facing content. These young people ranged from 16 to 23 years old and covered 7 states across the country. 		Dayja Burton is a 17-year-old college freshman from Washington, DC. She is an editorial board contributor with a passion for economic inequality and mental health. Click here to learn more about her.
Michael Doss is a May 2020 graduate from St. Louis, MO. Click here to learn how Michael uses his Bachelor’s in Social Work as an editorial board contributor to encourage positive youth development.

Elizabeth Stout is a sophomore at Albion College. Her work as a youth consultant within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services allows her to give a voice to children. Click here to learn how she also connects with young people as a junior contributor at YE4C.
		Mateo Valdivia is a senior biology and education major from California. He brings his love for education and greenery to YE4C as an editor. Click here to learn more about his passion for gardening and editorial board work.
