Youth Engaged 4 Change (YE4C) is a platform that provides resources and opportunities that inspire and empower young people to make a difference in their lives and the world around them by improving their knowledge and leadership skills. The YE4C audience includes young people between the ages of 16 and 24 in the United States. YE4C includes:

YE4C is a project of the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs, a collaboration of more than 20 federal agencies which focus on improving outcomes for youth. The YE4C platform is created in partnership with young people – most content on YE4C is created or informed by young people, and all content on YE4C is created for young people.

YE4C helps young people between the ages of 16 and 24 build their knowledge and skills, improve their personal lives, and advocate for others. Since 2013, young people have helped design and develop content for the YE4C website. The YE4C website helps youth through:

  • Opportunities such as internships and scholarships
  • Resources on topics that are important to youth, such as healthy relationships and mental health
  • Inspiring Stories by young people who are making a difference every day
