A Wider Circle
A Wider Circle helps people get out of poverty by fostering and inspiring individual and community change. The organization provides furniture and basic need items. It accept interns with many different interests to support a wide range of projects, such as helping families select furniture, assisting in the office, creating flyers, and more. Interns can work in one or both of two areas:
- Client Relations: directly assist individuals and families.
- Professional Development Center: support improvement and expansion of services. Focus on three main skills (client relations, outreach and development, and data analytics).
Time Commitment: Internships are offered for fall, spring, and summer semesters, during which interns are expected to work 12–30 hours per week.
Compensation: Internships are unpaid.
Location: Washington, D.C., metro area
