The Northwest Youth Corps helps youth and young adults develop skills to lead full and productive lives through various programs that focus on education, challenge, community, leadership, and empowerment. The organization provides educational support and job training for youth and young adults.

Interns receive hands-on training and experience with land and water resource management agencies and other outdoor careers.

Interns may work on the following projects for a three-month to 10-month period:

  • Improve and restore public lands and waterways
  • Habitat restoration and impact mitigation
  • Invasive species inventory and treatment
  • Trail maintenance and recreation infrastructure
  • Natural resource data collection

Multiple internships are available, including summer internships and paid internships.
